Linux is going to be one
of the main stream operating systems in China. With the objectives to develop
a major operating system for the country and to strength the software industry
in China through developing Linux, the Chinese government has strong initiatives
to promote the development and deployment of Linux and related applications
in both the government and commercial sectors.
